Mark Warner 

Virginia Democrat Mark Warner announced that he would work with others in the Senate to “ask tough but necessary questions about why we weren’t better prepared for a worst-case scenario involving such a swift and total collapse of the Afghan government and security forces.” 

Warner’s comments follow party lines, many Democrats are ready to admit that this has been a terrible and foreseeable disaster but are refusing to blame Biden outright.
