Costco will vehemently deny it, but the company has taken a political bend in recent years. 

For a long time the wholesale store had a policy of avoiding politics like the plague, but last year the company dropped the famous MyPillow brand after its founder Mike Lindell made a series of political moves in favor of Trump. 

There was a lot of pressure at the time for companies to drop the brand and Costco folded under the weight of left-wing social media users.
