Senator James Lankford(R-OK) 

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford came out to say that this crisis is hurting the state of Oklahoma and will continue to do so. 

Senator Lankford held a press conference with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to go into detail about the current immigration crisis. Lankford would point out that Biden took office, paid the contractors to build Trump’s southern border wall but stopped the construction of said wall. Lankford also shed light on the fact that the materials that were delivered to the various construction sites are being guarded by security firms that are getting paid millions of dollars. 

The point Senator Lankford is making is this, construction on the southern border wall should resume. 

Senator Lankford also announced that he will be meeting with the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas in the coming weeks to discuss border security.
