Man on Violent Rampage Stopped by Armed Citizen 

A Washington man went on a rampage around Silver Lake but was ultimately stopped by an armed civilian. 

An absolute lunatic started going on a rampage around the Silver Lake area in Washington state. The man pepper sprayed several people and assaulted others with a metal baton. The maniac kept getting more violent every time someone would try to reason with him and get him to surrender. When it became clear he was a real threat that could seriously hurt people or even kill them, one armed citizen drew his firearm in an effort to reason with him one last time. 

This armed citizen failed to negotiate with this lunatic and quickly became his next target. This was where the rampage stopped. 

The armed citizen who shot the man cooperated with the police and it does not appear he would have been charged. There was also no clear motive as to why the man started his violent rampage.
