Seattle Police Department 

The Seattle Police Department was already facing a shortage of officers after the Black Lives Matter movement succeeded in defunding the police, now the department is facing a potential crisis as a result of the vaccine mandate. 

The Seattle Police Department may have to fire 40% of the force for failing to comply with the vaccine mandate. According to the latest data, 292 officers have failed to provide proof of vaccination and over 100 other officers are waiting to see if they can be exempted from the vaccine. There are about 403 officers who could be fired as a result of this mandate, the city is already understaffed and if only half of these officers get the can the residents of Seattle are going to have a real problem.
