Steve Scalise is currently the Minority Whip, but if the GOP wins in 2022 and takes back control of the House he would become the Majority leader and the spot of Majority Whip would be up for grabs. This will be a heated battle as this is an extremely powerful position in Congress and it will be a figurative bloodbath to get it.
