Clothing

Clothing is a popular item for Christmas and many are seeing red at the checkout lines as a result of the rampant inflation. 

While shipping costs do have an effect here, the real increase in cost is coming from the pandemic and the new work from home wardrobe that everyone has picked up. Formal clothing did not sell well last year and these companies need to recuperate losses, clothes that did sell well will likely continue to do so and will be more expensive as a result of these losses in other areas.
