Washington was given an overall score of 42/100 by the Heritage Foundation. The state was unable to prevent ballot harvesting schemes and proved that it could not verify the citizenship status of those voting in its elections. Washington’s pains don’t end there however, the state does not stop same-day registration and automatic registration.
