Leave the Car Windows Open 

Smash and Grabs as well as rampant shoplifting in San Francisco have pushed many to come up with creative solutions to solve the problem. One such solution is leaving your car unlocked with the doors open and the windows rolled down. Multiple photos have spread across social media that show cars with signs on them that say “Door’s Unlocked, DON’T Break Windows!!!” and other such messages. This is truly sad, but what’s worse is that people are openly endorsing this as a solution to the problem and not addressing the trend as a symptom of much greater problems in these areas.
