The Washington Examiner reports:

Police are investigating the incident after Jennifer Carnahan reported that a man made several “threatening comments” at her while she was canvassing in the community on Tuesday before “swerving” his car in her direction as she walked away, the Faribault Police Department said.

“Today’s events remind me how important it is we take our nation back from the radical left, as well as restore the rule of law in Minnesota and across the nation,” Carnahan said in a statement. “The unfortunate events of today will not deter me from continuing to fight for the people of southern Minnesota and to put America First.”

A suspect was located and contacted by police at his home in Faribault later Tuesday evening, though it’s unclear if any charges have been filed.

“Their stories obviously differ somewhat. The issue of swerving while driving is really what’s in dispute,” Faribault Police Chief John Sherwin told the Star Tribune on Wednesday, noting that the suspect acknowledged there was an “incident between the two of them.”
