Today in a Hollywood minute, Amanda discussed CPAC’s straw poll from CPAC DC 2023, and the poll’s results. To no surprise, 62% of the CPAC attendee participants said President Trump was their preferred candidate. Then for the VP question, really to no surprise, Kari Lake got the top pick for that. Though her team, shortly after the results were announced, tweeted the Constitution won’t allow Lake to serve as Governor and VP at the same time. While this was epic, it echo’s the idea that Lake is set on focusing on Arizona and maybe for now VP isn’t in her sights. While Amanda would love to see a Donald Trump – Kari Lake ticket, anything is possible in politics.
