President Biden faces backlash after tweeting an interesting picture. Biden posted a tweet Tuesday showing a letter he had received from a “little girl” discussing gender inequality and the pay gap. Though after posting the letter, and adding his own commentary, many are calling the letter fake and are mocking the president as it seems one of his staffers wrote the letter to create content for Biden to discuss.
Charlotte, I couldn’t agree more.
Women lose thousands of dollars each year, and hundreds of thousands over a lifetime, because of gender and racial wage gaps.

Before discussing the comments Biden has received after posting the tweet, it is worth noting Twitter added a disclaimer under the tweet stating,
“The gender pay gap is simply the difference between the average earnings of all men and women working full-time. It does not account for differences in occupations, positions, education, job tenure or hours worked per week. This myth is incorrect and has been debunked.”
The disclaimer included the following links as well to prove their point.

Twitter users, far and wide, immediately discussed their skepticism of the tweet and the existence of “Charlotte.”
State Freedom Caucus Network Communications Director Greg Price tweeted, “Lmfao this is so fake that it’s embarrassing Biden’s handlers even thought anyone would think it was real.”

Some even assumed that maybe one of Biden’s staffers wrote the letter.
Author and Comedian Tim Young commented “Sooo, they have staff writing fake notes from children to Biden now… lol.”
