Over the last year, Americans have become hyper-focused on their own state and others governors. How they ultimately chose to respond to a worldwide pandemic and contentious presidential election left some governors standing way from the pack. Many chose to enact oppressive policies and see exactly how fair their powers could reach before constituents cried out while others led by example and reminded citizens that America is still in fact the home of the brave.
