Sadiq Khan, London’s first Muslim mayor, has made waves ever since he was elected in 2016. He now wants the government to restrict the delivery of knives and acid to homes from online retailers, in the wake of a record-breaking crimes waves on his watch, as he focused on political correctness instead of sound policing.
To be clear: carrying a knife on your person “without a good reason” is against the law in the United Kingdom. Khan also reversed himself on “stop and search”, a police tactic that he campaigned against.

Khan has publicly feuded with President Trump, going so far as to endorse Hillary Clinton and campaigned on London taxpayers’ shilling, to the tune of £39,000 (about $56,000). Khan also has fought to ban President Trump from visiting the United Kingdom.
Khan’s a model for how anti-Trump Democrats would like to behave in the United States. London has long held some of the toughest gun laws in the world, and are applying the same failed logic to knives for years; will they ever learn?
