The blatant disregard for the law during the Obama Administration continues to be brought to light. “Potus wants to know everything we’re doing,” Page texted Strzok on Sept. 2, 2016, according to Fox News. Disgraced former FBI Director acted as an intermediary, who would brief the President on updates on the investigation from the partisan couple’s efforts into the Clinton email scandal. Both Peter Strzok and Lisa Paige worked at one point for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia; it is not clear whether their efforts to investigate President-elect Trump were also reported directly to Obama.
 
The new trove of texts reinforces the narrative that Strozok and Paige, who were lovers, were part of a partisan conspiracy to undermine the incoming President Trump. On Election Day 2016, Page wrote, “OMG THIS IS F***ING TERRIFYING.” Strzok replied, “Omg, I am so depressed.” Later that month, on Nov. 13, 2016, Page wrote, “I bought all the president’s men. Figure I need to brush up on Watergate.”  The next day, Nov. 14, 2016, Page wrote, “God, being here makes me angry. Lots of high fallutin’ national security talk. Meanwhile, we have OUR task ahead of us.”
 
Strzok’s Aug. 15 text about an “insurance policy,” paired with the above texts, paints the pair’s efforts with a damning brush, as it builds the case that the two were actively trying to induce a Watergate-style outcome to uninstall the Trump Presidency when they themselves were part of Mueller’s investigation. The last text from Page to Strzok comes on June 23, 2017, when she wrote, “Please don’t ever text me again.” Please check back with TrumpTrainNews as this story unfolds.
