The Daily Caller is reporting that shots have been fired outside the White House:

The Secret Service mobilized in response to reports of gunshots outside of the White House Saturday morning.

According to the Secret Service Twitter account, one person was injured in what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to the President’s schedule, he is not at the White House.

He is in West Palm Beach, FL and is set to deliver remarks at 1:15 PM Eastern on an unrelated topic.

We expect the President to address the incident during that speech.
