Is it the FBI or the CYA? It's hard to tell, as Federal Bureau of Investigation desperately looks to block the memo, or at least dispute the House Intelligence Committee's facts as the memo is on the precipice of wreaking havoc and scandal on bad actors inside the bureau.
"The FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it," the bureau said in a statement. "As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy."
Since anonymous sources are all the rage in DC these days, an unidentified person in the FBI told Fox News that officials “could not point to any factual inaccuracies” within the memo. Yet, they have "grave concerns" about inaccuracies.
The FBI may not have been uniformly on the side of the Democrats when these abuses occurred, as a few bad actors in the Deep State were conspiring against President Trump in secret. But now they are dancing with the one that brought them, as they are more concerned with protecting their image than exposing their own wrongdoing.
