Man Arrested For Threatening To Chop Up GOP Senator & Family With Ax

A man is in custody after threatening to kill GOP Senator Rand Paul and chop his family up with an ax. This comes after a myriad of threats from the left to physically harm GOP members.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal:

A man is accused of threatening to chop up U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and his family with an ax.

The man has been arrested. He allegedly called in the threats to Paul’s Bowling Green office.

Paul mentioned the attack publicly at an event in Litchfield, Kentucky, on Monday.

“Capitol Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an axe,” Paul said. “It’s just horrendous that we have to deal with things like this.”

It is unclear if the attack was motivated by the senator’s support for President Trump. But it does seem to be a pattern since the left decided violence and intimidation was a proper response to not getting your way.
