Mexico’s President Loses It After Trump’s Speech

The President of Mexico Enrique Peno Nieta was not happy after Trump’s recent speech. President Trump doubled down on the assertion that Mexico will pay for the wall, and that triggered a response by the Mexican President.
According to The Daily Caller:

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto forcefully reacted to President Donald Trump’s Tuesday evening declaration that his country would pay for a wall along the U.S. southern border.

Pena Nieto’s tweet came just hours after Trump told his roaring rally, “I don’t want to cause a problem. I don’t want to cause it. But, in the end … in the end … Mexico is going to pay for the wall. I’m just telling you that.”

Trump then railed against the Mexican government for its lack of assistance to the U.S. in quelling illegal immigration and in its trade relations. “They are going to pay for the wall and they are going to enjoy it. Okay? They are going to enjoy it. They do nothing for us.”

President Trump and President Pena Nieto have had a contentious relationship over the border wall and immigration. Things look to be heating up as NAFTA negotiation drag on and the border wall becomes ever more important for Trump.
