On CNN's "townhall" on gun control, one of the two people on that stage were doing their job, and Sheriff Israel wasn't it. Dana Loesch, the spokesperson for the National Rifle Association (NRA), slammed him for failing to arrest the shooter after 39 police visits to his home.
Loesch called out Sheriff Israel because Cruz had made threats online, brought ammunition to school and committed assault, only to get a pass from law enforcement. The Sheriff deflected, claiming she didn't have her facts straight, when CNN, the host of the event, was the first to report the story.
Loesch was under fire from a hostile crowd, laced with plants and possibly scripted questions. Yet, she held her own, garnering respect from her opponents on the internet as she spoke for the demonized NRA.
Gun grabbers in the media and the swamp are manipulating the emotions of good people in the wake of this horrible episode, demanding more laws when both local and federal law enforcement failed to act upon the laws they had. Loesch deserves credit for taking Fake News Network's propaganda event and using it to defend our freedoms.
