SHOCKING Hillary & Fake News Billboard Gets Removed from Times Square

The New York Post reports that Viacom used its weight to get a billboard removed from New York City’s Times Square that called out Fake News. Interestingly, the billboard hit CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, the New York Times, and Time Magazine; none of the media brands are owned by the media giant. Yet, they rent the building where the sign was placed and complained to have it removed.

The Post reported, “The building is owned by SL Green Realty, the firm founded by Stephen L. Green, a major Democratic Party donor who is the brother of liberal politician Mark Green.” Stephen Green is a high dollar donor to the Democrats, giving $100,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund.

The Committee to the Defend the President paid for the billboard, and their counsel, Dan Backer reacted to Viacom’s actions. Backer said the five-figure ad was supposed to run for the entire week. “They approved the ad. How much pressure does it take to make a multi-billion dollar corporation knuckle under?” he asked. The episode shows that media organizations have a greater commitment to maintaining the fake news facade than they do to freedom of speech and the right to express opposing views.
