Trump Adds Another Hilarious Nickname To His List

Not sure, but we think the President isn’t happy with his Attorney General. President Trump’s frustration spilled over onto Twitter, where he said it was “disgraceful” that the attorney general asked the Justice Department’s inspector general rather than Department of Justice lawyers to investigate potential abuses by the FBI on surveillance warrants.

In a rare response, Sessions said he would “continue to discharge my duties with integrity and honor, and this Department will continue to do its work in a fair and impartial manner according to the law and Constitution.” The Washington Post made headlines by saying President Trump invoked cartoon nostalgia by referring to the Attorney General Sessions as “Mr. Magoo”, the bumbling character that couldn’t see what was going on before him.

President Trump has been frustrated with Sessions for some time, as he feels that he has been served poorly, with Sessions recusing himself last year and giving Rosenstein the power to appoint Mueller to torment the administration. President Trump has been under scrutiny, as Mueller has been investigating whether Trump wanted to fire Sessions for his inaction, which would bolster Mueller’s obstruction of justice argument. Sessions just can’t catch a break, and from the looks of it, Trump isn’t going to give him one.
