President Donald Trump slammed the bias on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team on Friday and in the process managed to sneak in a shot at twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Trump then highlighted how Mueller's team of prosecutors is overwhelmingly composed of Democrats, without a single registered Republican, suggesting that he might not be treated fairly due to political bias.
"Everybody sees it now and it is a pure witch hunt," Trump continued. "Right now, it's a pure witch hunt. Why don't we have Republicans looking also? Why aren't we having Republican people doing what all these Democrats are doing? It is a very unfair thing. If I thought it was fair, I would override my lawyers."
Trump then took a shot at Clinton, saying that some people on Mueller's team attended her election celebration, which he described as ultimately being her political "funeral."
