President Trump has given Chief of StaffReince Priebus a July 4 deadline to shakeup the White House staff or he’ll toss him, a report said.
The president has considered bringing in former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and deputy campaign manager David Bossie to get things under control as the Russia investigations continue to roil the White House, Politico reported late Sunday
He laid down the law to Preibus, the former chair of the Republican National Committee, after returning from his first overseas trip as president last month and offered him a fair chance to make the changes by Independence Day.
“I’m giving you until July 4,” Trump said, according to Politico. “I don’t want them to come into this mess. If I’m going to clean house, they will come in as fresh blood.”
