Omarosa Manigault, a White House communications director, was verbally attacked while shopping for bridesmaids’ dresses on Saturday.
Manigault and five friends were shopping at Nordstrom in Tysons Corner, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, apparently for an episode for TLC’s reality show Say Yes to the Dress.
But, according to reports by the Washington Post, a couple of fellow shoppers were not happy to see Manigault—and two women began harassing her.
After the women began following her, and refusing to leave her alone, Manigault complained to staff at the Nordstrom cosmetics counter and asked for assistance.
Unfortunately for Manigault, a fellow patron told the Post that, after she reported it to employees, the “situation escalated from there.”
“They were letting her have it,” the Post’s source said. She added that one woman shouted, “Trump’s whore!” at Manigault.
The women who harassed Manigault were kicked out of the store, while Nordstrom security staff escorted Manigault to her car. Nordstrom confirmed that the incident had taken place.
Nordstrom seems to have caught itself on the wrong side of the Trump team this week—announcing that they would stop carrying Ivanka Trump-branded clothing.
On Wednesday morning, Donald Trump angrily tweeted the store: “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!”
Trump has not yet weighed in on a key member of his staff being harassed inside the same store.
