The liberal media continues to deny there’s a real scandal brewing around Obama’s former National Security Advisor, Susan Rice—but the evidence is piling up.
Now, another shoe has dropped—after revelations that Rice had large amounts of personal information on key Trump staffers, rather than just the “incidental” contact she had previously claimed.
“This is information about their everyday lives,” explained Congressman Peter King (R-NY), a member of the House Intelligence Committee. “Sort of like in a divorce case where lawyers are hired, investigators are hired just to find out what the other person is doing from morning until night and then you try to piece it together later on.”
As a whole, the House Intelligence Committee has only seen broad outlines of the intelligence gathered by Rice. Only now-former Republican House Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes and ranking Democrat Adam Schiff have seen the full reports.
Nunes, however, had stated that he was deeply concerned about the information he had seen gathered by the Obama Administration in their final days, before turning over the keys to the White House to President Donald Trump.
Schiff refused to comment, but explained why: “I cannot comment on the content of these materials or any other classified documents, and nothing should be inferred from the fact that I am treating classified materials the way they should be treated – by refusing to comment on them. Only the Administration has the power to declassify the information and make it available to the public.”
Despite a changing story, Rice has continued to deny doing anything politically-motivated or illegal by gathering information on Trump aides and “unmasking” their identities in classified documents.
