SWAMP DRAIN? Anti-Trump GOPer Retiring from Congress after 18 years

Florida Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is retiring from Congress, Fox News learned Sunday.

Ros-Lehtinen has been a House member since 1989 and will not seek re-election next year. She is a former chairwoman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Ros-Lehtinen is considered a moderate Republican, who has not supported House Republican leadership’s recent ObamaCare overhaul plans and is not a strong supporter of President Trump.

Ros-Lehtinen’s congressional district will be a battleground in 2018 for Democrats and Republicans, considering it was one of about 20 that voted last year for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Of course she will retire, that way she can get her Congressional retirement and all the benefits that go with it.

If she ran again and lost then she would also lose her Congressional retirement benefits

Excellent opportunity to fill a reluctant Rep’s seat with a PRO-TRUMPER.
