An immigrant from Saudi Arabia was deported by the federal government—after violently threatening shoppers act an Indiana Goodwill.

Khalid Sulaiman Bilal, 24, a former college student, was attempting to “forcibly” convert shoppers to Islam. According to local news, Bilal was “claiming to be the Prophet Muhammad and trying to place his hands on [fellow shoppers].” He also “struck and strangled” an employee, and threatened to kill her if she refused to convert to Islam.

When police arrived, Bilal continued to fight—kicking one officer and breaking another officer’s hand. Through the fight, Bilal yelled, “Allahu Akbar,” a phrase that’s commonly used during acts of Islamic terrorism.

Bilal was investigated in March by the Department of Homeland Security, and they eventually deported him. Because he was returned to Saudi Arabia, Bilal does not face charges for his actions aside from the deportation
