President Trump insisted on Sunday that voters have his back and there was “no Russian collusion in our winning campaign” in the wake of son Donald Trump Jr.’s admission to seeking Kremlin-dug political dirt.
A new ABC News/Washington Post poll revealed Sunday that a mere 36 percent of Americans approved of his job performance – leading Trump to both embrace that remarkably low number as “not bad at this time” and attack survey takers.
“The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!” Trump tweeted.
The final ABC/Washington Post poll before last November’s election had Hillary Clinton up, 49 percent to 46 percent. She ended up winning the popular vote, 48 percent to 46 percent.
