A new poll of U.S. adults found President Trump’s approval numbers are on the rise after a turbulent first six and a half months in office.
The Monmouth University poll concluded 41 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s job in office and 49 percent are not happy with his work.
The Aug. 10-14 survey saw a two-point increase in support and three-point drop in opposition from July’s findings. The poll was taken last Thursday through Monday, and did not capture Americans’ views in light of Trump’s statements about the Charlottesville, Va., car attack.
Trump’s positive numbers have risen in recent months and are more than double that of Congress’s approval ratings.
