President Trump will meet with congressional Democratic leadership for dinner at the White House on Wednesday.
The dinner with Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was confirmed by the White House and a source familiar with the meeting.
Schumer and Pelosi are expected to use the sit down to push for legislation to protect undocumented immigrants brought into the country as children, as well as stabilizing the health insurance market—two top priorities for Democrats.
The meeting comes after Trump shocked Republicans by cutting a short-term debt extension deal with Democrats last week.
