Vice President Pence’s press secretary, Marc Lotter, is leaving the White House, according to multiple media reports.

Lotter told Bloomberg News he will work as an outside advocate and surrogate for Pence and President Trump.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to support and discuss the president’s and vice president’s accomplishments and agenda in my new role as a spokesperson on their political efforts,” he told the news wire.

Lotter said the decision came with Pence’s blessing. It hasn’t been decided which outside pro-Trump group he’ll work with.
