Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci launched his new media company, the “Scaramucci Post,” on Monday night.
The short lived communications director took questions from reporters at his Midtown Manhattan restaurant, the Hunt and Fish Club, where he outlined his vision for his new media outlet, the Hill reported.
Scaramucci has a varied background; he is a Harvard Law graduate and in addition to his position with the Trump administration, was previously a Goldman Sachs banker, hedge fund founder, and political financier. Yet with his decision to launch a media outlet, “he has found yet another calling,” according to the Washington Post.
During Monday night’s event, Scaramucci admitted he was still in his the early stages, but knows he wants to publish centrist, informative content, hoping to be “a middle lane” rather than serving the left or the right.
