President Donald Trump wants to call the Republican tax reform bill “The Cut Cut Cut Act,” but there is a dispute with congressional leaders over that title.
According to senior Trump administration officials who spoke to ABC News, Trump has been insistent on the title for what he has touted as the biggest tax cuts ever that will spur economic growth and job creation.
However, Trump has reportedly gotten pushback from House Speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) and House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady (R., Tex.) over the name.
