President Trump followed up on comments he made Wednesday that he would like to see the New York City terror suspect get sent to the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, saying that option is likely out of the question.
“Would love to send the NYC terrorist to Guantanamo but statistically that process takes much longer than going through the Federal system,” he said.

Trump had responded to a reporter’s question Wednesday about Guantanamo Bay, saying he would “certainly consider” sending 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov there.
