White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders denied that President Donald Trump was “taunting” Kim Jong Un with his tweet about nukes.
Rather, Sanders argued, Trump was simply giving an accurate assessment of the United States’ nuclear capabilities as compared to North Korea.

“I don’t think it’s taunting to stand up for the people of this country,” Sanders asserted. “I think what’s dangerous is to ignore the continued threats.”
When Welker asked again if the tweet was “taunting,” Sanders responded simply, “I think it’s just a fact.”
