The Deep State has had a rough few weeks, given that the Trump Russiagate narrative is unraveling; it’s harder and harder for them to keep up the lie. The texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Paige, and the recovery of their deleted conversations made for some bad headlines, especially when the public confidence in the investigation is declining and the credibility of the investigation is only as good as the investigators. WFB reporter Lisa Harrington openly questions the timing of the release of the alleged Trump firing Mueller” news, as it is convenient to change the subject. President Trump took the opportunity in Davos to call the report “fake news.”
Strzok has been instrumental in understanding the behind the scenes back and forth between giving Clinton and pass, going after Trump, and the “secret society” of “resistance” members willing to twist the facts to go after a President they disdain. The more we learn about Peter Strzok and his antipathy for the President, which predates the investigation, the less any sentient American can believe that the investigation is anything but a Deep State hit-squad. The only thing they have going for them is that the media is on their side, and cares less about the truth than they do.
The FBI can leak to cover the misdeeds of its own and grab the weekend news cycle, but they can’t restore the credibility they have lost as they have become the referee that picks sides. Instead, they are resorting to campaign-style PR tricks so Americans won’t have the conversation that they should be having: why is America’s top law enforcement agency trying to invalidate the will of the people, when Americans rejected swamp politics? Justice is supposed to be blind, not partisan.
