Chicago businessman Todd Ricketts is expected to accept the role of Republican National Committee finance chair, according to four people familiar with the matter.
A formal vote is expected to happen later Tuesday. Ricketts is working closely with the White House and RNC leaders on the appointment, these people said, requesting anonymity to describe private conversations.
