Fathom Hillary Clinton’s hypocrisy. Its vastness is impossible to see from one vantage, like the Alaskan wilderness. The media has repackaged the leftovers of Hillary’s image into some sort of feminist elder stateswoman as if she were to feminism what Martin Luther King was to civil rights. That falls apart for a very simple reason: she couldn’t be a bigger fraud. She didn’t even punish such inappropriate sexual behavior in her campaign, where all could see; let alone her household.
A story appeared today about something that happened in 2008. I was dismayed when it occurred, but was heartened the young woman came forward, was heard, and had her concerns taken seriously and addressed.

Suddenly, she’s supposed to be the #MeToo maven, who sheds crocodile tears for women who have alleged sexual harassment. In fact, she has a long and vicious history of suppressing and attacking credible accusers of her husband, including allegations of rape. She cackled with delight for getting a child rapist off on a lesser charge as a young lawyer. And we are to believe that she is a well of compassion that calls harassment accusers to encourage them? Beyond. The. Pale.
Were Hillary Clinton to publicly atone for her prior misdeeds, that would be one thing. The vile nature of her prior conduct, her enabling of unacceptable behavior marks her with the stain on complicity; tweets about insincere phone calls doesn’t change that. Maybe the reader would believe that Hillary would say these things, but that’s just the problem: there is no floor to the depths of which she would sink to advance herself at others’ expense.
Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported. https://t.co/mkD69RHeBL
