President Trump has shot up in the polls after his stellar State of the Union appearance. President Trump is polling at 48% according to Rasmussen, in the face of an unprecedented media onslaught, never faced by any other candidate for office; Barack Obama had the media eating out of his hand, and polled at 44% at the same point in 2010.
Pew reported that Trump’s media coverage was three times as bad as Obama’s coverage. While the Media Research Center clocked Trump’s coverage at a whopping 90 percent negative.
Obama’s polling started falling off as Pelosi and Reid rammed the so-called Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, down the throats of the American people, creating the inflationary spiral that caused healthcare prices to skyrocket. President Trump, on the other hand, used his majorities to give money back to the American people, in the form of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which is paying dividends on the job market, in paychecks, and in Trump’s case, at the polls.
Americans want to keep their money, not pay more for what they had yesterday. Don’t take our word for it, the polls illustrate that nicely.
