After candidate Trump’s meteoric rise as a political figure, she sought to tell the story again. This time, it culminated on October 28, with a signed non-disclosure agreement between Daniels and Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen.
2018: Trump And Daniels’ Legal Battle
On January 12th, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 from his own funds to avoid a scandal in 2016.
Stormy Daniels Restraining Order
In February, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen stated that the campaign was not involved, as liberal outlets speculated about potential campaign finance violations. Cohen then won a restraining order barring Daniels from speaking about the matter publicly. Cohen then produced a letter from Daniels asserting that no affair occurred, which was met with Daniels’ denial that she wrote it.
Stormy Daniels Sues Trump
Daniels’ attorney then claimed that the agreement was null and void, because Trump’s signature was not on the agreement. Her lawyer also claims that the arbitration that produced the restraining order is invalid, as Daniels was neither aware nor present for the proceedings.
Stormy Daniels 60 Minutes Interview
According to media reports Daniels will give an interview to CBS’ 60 Minutes in an apparent violation of her restraining order. We are waiting to see what news comes from the interview.

Whatever happens with the legal fight, ironically Stormy Daniels’ mother Sheila Gregory is a big fan of President Trump.“If Mr. Trump runs four more times, I would vote for him every time,” Gregory said. “I like him.
