The media won’t tell you this, but not only is it unlikely that Dems will retake the Senate, but Republicans have the opportunity to get a filibuster-proof 60 seat supermajority. That’s a big deal, as the Senate has been the firewall of the swamp, keeping President Trump from moving forward on border security and other key priorities.
 
The Morning Consult Poll shows Republicans leading in 6 states, and are in dead heats in 3 others. Trump has some game-changing allies running that can make the second half of the second term more productive than the first, and Democrats are secretly freaking out that President Trump could make even more progress against the swamp. Number five will be the most welcome change of all.
