President Trump said nice words about Roger Wicker, who has no primary opponent in Mississippi, and California Republicans John Cox, Devin Nunes, and Kevin McCarthy. John Cox is running for governor, and because of California’s “top two” system, is in peril of not making the ballot, due to the number of candidates running. Clearly, Devin Nunes has taken flak for dissecting Obama’s Spygate shenanigans on the intelligence committee, and McCarthy is the favorite to replace Paul Ryan as speaker.
