The coverage by the mainstream media of the North Korean summit was suspect, to say the least. Well on Wednesday morning President Trump let them know about his disappointment.
According to The Daily Wire:
On Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump unleashed his fury on the mainstream media for their coverage of the unprecedented summit between North Korea and the United States. President Trump outright called the “fake news” media the biggest threat to our country and blasted outlets like NBC and CNN for attempting to downplay the apparent progress made on the international front.
“So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea,” wrote Trump via Twitter. “500 days ago they would have ‘begged’ for this deal-looked like war would break out.”
Trump finished the tweet with a controversial and direct message: “Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!”

The meeting between Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un is indeed groundbreaking, but it is currently unclear what will happen next. As noted by Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro, there could be great progress on the horizon, or this could be another instance where the Kim regime lies to an American administration and uses the meeting as propaganda. Time will tell.
The media seemed to be trying to ruin the summit before it even got off the ground. Trump the day before had to tell CNN’s Jim Acosta to act with more class.
