President Trump didn’t have a fan in the former governor and sitting Congressman Mark Sanford. He was a frequent critic of President Trump and was a go-to Republican for CNN when they wanted to cast the president in a negative light. Sanford lost to pro-Trump candidate Katie Arrington in the primary on Tuesday. Losing a vocal opponent is always a good gift to receive.
My political representatives didn’t want me to get involved in the Mark Sanford primary thinking that Sanford would easily win – but with a few hours left I felt that Katie was such a good candidate, and Sanford was so bad, I had to give it a shot. Congrats to Katie Arrington!
