A Dem candidate for Congress destroyed Elizabeth Warren’s claims she is native American while speaking 10 minutes before the Senator.

According to The Daily Caller:

Democratic congressional candidate Deb Haaland said on Friday that, if elected, she would be the “first Native American woman in Congress.”

Haaland, who is running for Congress in New Mexico’s 1st District, seemed to refute Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s claim to a Native American heritage. Warren has repeatedly claimed without evidence that she comes from a Cherokee family.

“If elected, I’ll be the first Native American Woman in Congress,” Haaland said to massive audience applause. “I recognize that we are on indigenous land and I approach you with respect for the tribes whose homeland we stand on now.”

To add even more insult to injury, Haaland was speaking just about ten minutes before Warren at the progressive conference. It’s unclear if Haaland intended her remark to be a dig at Warren or if she was just stating a fact.

Regardless if this was a dig or a statement of fact, it is a fact and proves that Senator Warren has been lying to the American people.
