They want to give the illusion that Kavanagh is everything that America hates, and true American patriots are in the courtroom ready to stop him. This is the false narrative that Trump broke in 2016 when he beat out all the odds and won the election, this narrative shattering skill is what has let him appoint two supreme court justices.
