Trump CONFIRMS Picks for A.G. and U.N. Ambassador

President Trump has confirmed to the Washington Post his picks for Attorney General and U.N. Ambassador.

Trump will nominate William Barr, who previously served as Attorney General under George H.W. Bush to be the next Attorney General of the United States.

The Hill Reports that Trump told reporters:

“He was my first choice since day one,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn of Barr. “He ‘ll be nominated.”

It was reported yesterday that Trump was expected to pick Barr as the next Attorney General. [READ MORE: Trump’s Next AG Revealed]

President Trump will also nominate current State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert to become the next U.N. Ambassador. Nauert also used to work for Fox News.

The Daily Caller reports:

Nauert would be replacing outgoing ambassador Nikki Haley who announced her resignation back in October, Fox News reported. Nauert was named as one of Trump’s top candidates for the vacancy in the days after Haley’s resignation became public.

Earlier reporting that Trump decided against Nauert in favor of former Michigan Senate candidate John James proved to be false and pure media speculation. The president is now fully committed to Nauert.
