President Trump strongly rejected socialism in his State of the Union address. As the president rejected the failed form of government the camera caught a glimpse of socialist Senator Bernie Sanders who did not look pleased.
According to Town Hall:
“Here in the United States, we are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and Independence and not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free,” Trump said.
He also defended the principles America was founded on.
“America was founded on liberty and Independence and not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free and we will stay free,” he explained. “America will never be a socialist country.”
…
Naturally, CSPAN panned in on Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who has become the face of socialism in America.
Trump: “Here in the United States, we are alarmed by the new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and Independence and not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free.”

Bernie was obviously not pleased with President Trump’s strong takedown of socialism. Others were concerned with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s reaction. It turns out this was a little smugger.
Republicans boo, AOC smiles when Trump says “We are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our countries.”
