President Trump recently thanked Vice President Mike Pence’s wife at the National Prayer Breakfast. The praise of Karen Pence was met with big pushback, including homophobia.

Leftists are waving their arms with cries of “homophobia” after President Trump praised Karen Pence, wife of Vice President Mike Pence, for teaching at a Christian school that promotes biblical sexual morality.
“I’ve gotten to know Karen so well,” the president said, according to NBC News. “She is a Marine Corps mom, a tremendous woman, a proud supporter of military families, and she just recently went back to teaching art classes at a Christian school. Thank you, thank you, Karen. Terrific woman.”

For praising Karen Pence’s line of work, the LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD denounced the president’s comments as “disturbing.”
“It’s disturbing that @SecondLady and @realDonaldTrump would put their stamp of approval on an institution that actively targets LGBTQ students,” GLAAD said in a tweet.

It appears that it is a need for religious groups to accept others beliefs and ways of life, but it is ok for religious groups to be ridiculed for their beliefs.
